Hedgehugs!

I'm popping in today to share a set of adorable cards I made using the Your Next Stamp set called "HedgeHugs". I love the Spring feel to these cards! Winter is always too long as far as I am concerned!
I'm using paper today from the Echo Park Spring Fling 6x6 collection. It's an older collection but still just as pretty and springy! Anything plaid or gingham always catches my eye. I stamped and coloured my images and then using Craftin' Desert Divas Stitched In Circle die set cut out the images. Some fun gems from Little Things finish off my design.
On this card I stamped the "Thank You" into the middle of the flower circle. Then I coloured the Hedgehogs and fussy cut them out. Next I popped them up with foam squares for some added dimension to my card.
On this card I stamped a hedgehog into the middle and popped up the sentiment.

It's Spring!

Hello!!
Spring is finally here and it couldn't come soon enough for me. I love the longer days and the sun that has been showing its face lately! It's so nice looking at the window at the plants and trees that are beginning to turn green and sprout! My card today features the adorable "Bunny By Birdhouse" from High Hopes Stamps!
I started my card by stamping the image onto some Copic Friendly paper with my Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I coloured the image in with my Copic Markers. Next I cut the image out with a Fishtail die and added a blue cardstock layer behind it. I decided to use a piece of blue gingham paper from the MFT Gingham Galore 6x6 collection. I added a die cut blue piece that I embossed using the Tailored Expressions "Flower Power" embossing folder. The sentiment called "Spring Has Sprung" also from High Hopes Stamps goes perfectly with this adorable image! Some ribbon, a bow and button finish off my card.

TP Dudley!

Hello Friends!
Today is all about sending some cheer to our Neighbours! The subdivision we live in is very social! It's an "Adult Lifestyle" Community and I know everyone is struggling with the social distancing. I have to thank Whimsy Stamps for the free digital stamp called "TP Dudley" and a big thanks to the Designer, Dustin Pike for creating this perfect image!
I printed off a page of TP Dudley and set about colouring each one a different colour. Next I dug through my 6x6 papers and found patterned papers to match. I used the CDD "Fancy Frames Dies to create my cards. I made the sentiment "Good Friends Are Hard To Find" on my computer and the inside shows as follows....
LOL right?!!
Papers are from the 6x6 collections:
Doodlebug : Sunkissed, I Love Travel & Dragon Tails
Echo Park: Little Man & For The Record 2
Sunny Studios: Preppy Prints
I also added Clear Glitter Pen to the Dragon's bellies.
I had some mini "googley eyes" I've been wanting to use and they fit TP Dudley perfectly!
If you want to see what Copic combo's I used hopefully you can tell from the picture LOL!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are well and keeping busy during this different and difficult time in our World!

With Sympathy!

Hello!
Not only was I short on Get Well cards but Sympathy cards as well. I always hate when I run out as it means I've had to send some out and it's not a fun occasion. I'm really trying to use stamps that I've ordered, never used and hoarded (lol). This set is from Simon Says Stamp and is called "Delicate Flowers".
I decided to watercolor these beauties for something different than my usual Copic colouring. I stamped the image onto watercolor paper with Wow Opaque Brilliant White Super Fine Embossing Powder and melted the powder with my heat gun. Then using Tombow markers I added a bit of colour to the image. Taking a fine tipped water brush I pulled the colour out making it look watercolored. I backed the water colour panel with some matching polka dot papers from Echo Park. A few gems finish things off.
On this card I actually fussy cut the flowers and popped them up amongst the foliage.
On this card I stamped the flowers and then masked them off. Next I added the leaves around the flower images.
On the inside I used a sympathy sentiment from my stash and a bit of the dotted papers.

Tobow markers used:
249, 126, 847
985, 606, N5

Mary Angel!

Happy Tuesday!
I hope my post today finds you all well in these difficult days! I thought I'd pop in with a cutie to help brighten your day! Meet the adorable "Mary Angel" from High Hopes Stamps! Isn't she just having the best time splashing in the puddles! Mary Angel reminds me of my daughters when they were little and loved to play in the rain!
I chose papers today from an older Echo Park collection called "Spring". I thought the umbrella papers went perfectly with this image. I coloured my image with my Copic markers and then paper pieced Mary's coat and umbrella. It's hard to see but the puddle, splashes and Mary's wings all have clear glitter pen added to them for a bit of sparkle! I added some clear dewdrops (gems) to the cut out image to look like rain drops.
I decorated the inside of my card and then added the "Play In The Puddles" sentiment also from High Hopes Stamps.
Copics Used:
Skin: R00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: Y00, Y23, YR12

Nurse Nancy!

Happy Hello!!
I'll let you in on a little secret...... I've been obsessed with watching "Call the Midwife" on Netflix! I've binge watched them all and just loved it! Anything about babies always gets me hooked! "Nurse Nancy" from C.C. Designs reminded me of these ladies for some reason!
I decided to colour "Nurse Nancy" to match these Midwives.
I had to dig through my papers to find some red and baby blue to match my coloured images. I finally found some that worked in the Pink & Main "Beach Bum" 6x6 collection. Some simple layers and a "Get Well" sentiment from my wooden block stash made up my design today. A bit of Stickles for some bling on the red crosses finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair, bag and shoes: C4, C7, C9
Reds:R37, R59, R89
Blues: B21, B23, B24

Chicks With Hat-itude!

Happy Tuesday!
Thanks for popping in today to see my Tuesday post for High Hopes Stamps. Meet the adorable trio called "Gertie, Millie & Hattie". These cuties remind me of my peeps and the day we tried on Halloween hats LOL. The HH Sentiment called "Hat-itude" goes perfectly with these besties!
Lots of layers on my cards today using papers the Doodlebug French Kiss 6x6 collection and some matching cardstock. I tried to colour these ducks to match the papers with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut the image out and then popped it up with some foam tape. It's hard to see in the picture but each of the hats have Glitter Pen on the flowers and ribbons for a soft glittery look. A big hot pink bow and some heart shaped enamel dots finish off my card.

Nurse Tilda!

Yahoo! It's Friday!!
I'm back with a few more "Get Well" cards to get my stash built back up! Today I dug deep and got out  my Magnolia images. I found "Nurse Tilda" that I hadn't inked up yet! She's such a cutie, I can't believe I forgot I had her!
After stamping and colouring the images with My Copic Markers, I fussy cut out one and used a Gina Marie Loopy Oval die on the other. I decided on papers from the Carta Bella "Flora No.2" 6x6 collection. I used a "XO" border die from the Pink & Main "Heart Borders" die set. The "Feel Better" sentiment is from a MFT Pure Innocence set I've had forever.  I added some Crystal Stickles to the red crosses for a bit of bling.
I gave this card away to our Neighbour who just had knee surgery. It sure brightened her day!
This one's ready to go out next when I need a Get Well card!
The decorated inside and the sentiment is a wooden block stamp I've had for ages.

Birdies & Eagles!

Fore!!!
That's what you'd be hearing if it was me out on the golf course "fore" (look out) LOL. My golf balls would be flying everywhere. Luckily "Golfer Rudy" from High Hopes Stamps has his game in check! I mean look at that form!
Golfer Rudy is a bit on the bigger size (4.75x3) so I decided to try out the "Slim Line" card base. I've been seeing this card size 8.5 x 3.5" a lot on Facebook and thought it would be perfect for Rudy! I stamped and coloured the image with my Copic markers and then fussy cut him out using some scissors. Since I only have papers in 6x6, I had to be creative with this taller card size. I decided to use papers from the Honey Bee "Great Outdoors" 6x6 collection and used a rectangle block pattern. It's hard to see on the card but I tried to make a tee with a small white pom pom on it to resemble a golf ball. I love that sentiment called "Funny Golf Saying", it just makes me giggle! Rudy is popped up with foam squares for added dimension.
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E37, E39

Dr Orders!

Hi!
A dear neighbour of ours had surgery and I went to grab a card and realized I was all out! So I got out these cuties from My Favourite Things and got busy! Meet the "Dr Orders" and " Super Hero In Scrubs" sets.
I started by stamping my images and sentiment on to some alcohol ink friendly paper. Using my Copics, I coloured in the images and then fussy cut them out. I decided to make my own background this time instead of using patterned paper. I got out some water colour paper and a "Moroccan Lattice" Stencil. Using a blending sponge and some Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry I made the background. I concentrated the colour more towards the centre and lighter on the edges. Then I just added some matching pink cardstock behind the background panel and sentiment. I popped up the sentiment and images with some foam tape for a bit of added dimension. Some sequin stickers finish everything off!
Copics Used:
Skin: E000, E01, E11, E13, R20
Hair: E31, E35, E57, E79/ E08, E18, YR14, YR18
Labcoat: C00, C0, C1
Scrubs: RV17, RV19, R89/ BG93, BG96, BG99
Shoes: N3, N5, N6

In the coming posts I will be adding more Get well cards as my stash is really low!
Thanks for stopping by!
