Little Dude!

Hello!
Thanks for popping by today to see my card using the "Prickly Little Dude" digital stamp from Polkadoodles! I think it was his hair that drew me to this stamp lol! That and I love cactus, but for the life of me have no green thumb with them.
I challenged myself to do a one layer CAS designed card today. I started by downloading, sizing and printing my image onto Copic friendly paper. Next I coloured him in using my Copic Sketch markers. Then I cut around him, making a 4.25" x 5.5" rectangle (A2 card base). I used a black marker and hand drew the border around the edges. A few enamel dots finish off my card.
Copic Markers Used:
Skin: E11, E33, E51, R20

Friendship!

Hi!
I'm in love with the adorable "Flying Fairy" from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez! Loved her so much I had to use the image 3 times LOL! I love digital stamps because you can resize them to whatever you desire and in this case I also "flipped" one.
To start, I downloaded the image, sized it to my liking and then printed it on Copic Friendly paper. Next I coloured the image to match the papers from The Paper Boutique "Bohemian Blooms" 8x8 collection. I cut the polka dotted frame using 2 Stitched Rectangle dies. I cut a piece of watercolor paper for th middle and made an ink blended background using Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Spun Sugar and Milled Lavender. I popped the frame up with foam tape and inlaid the blended piece. The 3 fairies are also popped up using foam for even more dimension with glitter pen added to their wings. A few Studio Katia "Radiant Orchid Pearls" finish off my card!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E23, E25, E29

Happy Halloween!

Happy September 1st!
Wow the summer sure went fast and now it's time to start thinking of Fall and Halloween cards! I'm excited to be using this "Boo Family In Frame" from High Hopes Stamps for my first Halloween card of the season! The faces on these Ghosts are just too adorable to be spooky!
I started my card by stamping the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured the image with my Copic Markers. Using the larger die from the YNS "Stitched Polaroid Frame", I cut out the image. I also cut another frame using some purple cardstock and added the "Happy Halloween" sentiment with embossing ink and Black embossing powder. I am using papers for the Brutus Monroe "Happy Haunting" 6x6 collection. I popped the purple frame up with foam tape and inset the square "Boo Family" for a bit of added dimension. It's hard to tell in the picture but the stars and bows on the ghosts all have Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen added to them. A gooey drip border, web, sider and bats scattered about finish off my card today!
Copics Used:
Ghosts:C00, C1, C2, YR04, R01, R22
Bows: V05, V06, V09
Stars: Y18, YR04
Sky: YG00, YG01, YG03

ICU!

Hello!
My neighbour recently had surgery so I pulled out my Art Impressions stamp set called "Get Well"! You can count on Art Impressions to come up with a fun set to make someone laugh! This image always makes me giggle!
After stamping the images onto some Copic friendly paper, I used my Copic Markers to colour it in. I decided to use papers from my "Scraps Stash" on this card as they were perfect for a male theme. I cut around the image using a die from the Gina Marie's "Big and Little Pierced Dot Rectangle" set. Some enamel dots and twine finish off my 5.5" square card.
Here's the decorated inside with another sentiment from the set.
Copics Used:

G'Day Mate!

Howdy!
Today I am sharing a slimline card I made using the adorable set of "Koala" images from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz. I hope to someday get to Australia to see these cuties in person!
I downloaded, sized and printed my Koala's onto Copic Friendly Paper. Then using my Copic markers I coloured them in. Taking some Copic solution and a rag, I dabbed at the images to create a fun fur texture. I cut a piece of watercolor paper and using the SSS Delicate Flowers stamp set, embossed some leaves onto my paper. Next using Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover, I blended them over the embossed leaves to create a background paper. Then using Distress Ink in Mowed Lawn and a watercolor brush, I added the deeper colour to each leave to make them stand out a bit more. I cut out circles and some lacey circles for the Koala's to sit in. The leaf background is popped up with foam tape and the cut out circles are inlaid.
Here's the inside of my card. The sentiments I used today are from the SSS "Koalaty Friend" stamp set. They matched with the Kinda Cute Koala's perfectly.
Copics Used:
E43, E44, E47
R02, R20

From Our Gnome To Yours!

It's Tuesday!!
Tuesday means that I am over on the High Hopes Blog sharing another card! Meet "Snowy Gnome" from the August 2020 release over at High Hopes Stamps. Gnomes are all the rage right now and Snowy Gnome fits right in with the "gnome obsession"! I was in love with Gnomes and Fairies growing up, and I think that's why this guy holds a special place in my heart!
I stamped and coloured "Snowy Gnome" with my Copic markers and cut him out using my Brother Cut N Scan. I love these papers from the Polkadoodles "Ho Ho Gnome" 6x6 collection. I want to hoard this paper but "Snowy Gnome" deserved to be used on them! The HH Sentiment called "From Our Gnome" is just perfect for this card! I cut it in half and used the other part of the sentiment on the inside of my card.
Here's the decorated inside with the other half of the "From Our Gnome" sentiment.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E95, R20
Beard: W1, W3, W5

I started by stamping the images with Memento ink and coloured them with my Copic Markers. Using the matching set of Dragon Dies, I cut these cuties out using my Big Shot. I decided on papers from the Doodlebug "Dragon Tails" 6x6 collection. After gluing the circles die to my background I added 2 different patterned papers to the cut out holes. The dragons are popped up with foam tape for added dimension. I decided to use a sentiment from the Stamping Bella "Dragon Sentiments" set. Some matching twine and enamel dots finish off my card.

Good Times!

Hello Friends!
Who doesn't love a group of bunnies, especially these cuties!! Although..... I have to admit a "group" of bunnies in my garden is not ideal. They are eating like Kings LOL! But in the Spring the baby bunnies are just adorable! This image called "Bunny Family" is from the August 2020 Release over at High Hopes Stamps! I just love all the expressions on their faces!
I coloured each bunny differently using my Copic Sketch markers. Then using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut around the image and also made a background layer. I popped the image up with foam squares for added card dimension. I used papers from the Doodlebug "Fun In the Sun" 6x6 collection. I used the High Hopes sentiment called "Good Times". All the bows have some Wink of Stella clear pen added to them. A cute ribbon bow (Thanks Donna) and some enamel dots finish off my card!
Copics Used:
Bunny #1: C2, C3, C5, C7/ BG45, BG53, BG57

Marshmallows Anyone?

Welcome!
These are officially my first Christmas cards of 2020! I love these cute digi's from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alveraz! We've been having lots of backyard camp fires and when I saw the "Snowman and Marshmallow" image, it reminded me of us roasting marshmallows and making S'mores.
Snowmen are one of my favourite Christmas/ Winter images to use! I decided to make a bright fun card and then a more traditional one.
For this more traditional card, I used papers from the Echo Park "Celebrate Christmas" 6x6 collection. I cut the image out with a Spellbinders labels 28 die and backed it with red cardstock. I used some Liquid Applique to resemble snow. You add it to your card, let it dry and then heat it using your heat gun. The appliqué then fluffs up!
Papers from the Doodlebug "Christmas Magic" 6x6 collection were perfect for my card. Doodlebug always has such bright and fun designer papers! I cut the image out using a Gina Marie Double Roped Oval die. This time for the snow I used some Stampendous "Spoonful of Snow". I added it with some glue and then heat set it. It melts into a pretty glistening look of snow.
Copics Used:
Snowmen: C00, C0, C1,, C7, C9, YR04, YR09, E44
Boy: R37, R59, R89, G94, G99
Girl: RV52, RV55, YG17, YG23, YG25
Fire: E43, E44, YR04, YR09, YR15

Honey Bee Farm Fresh Flowers!

Hello!
I'm so glad you stopped by today! I'm sharing a couple cards I created using the Honey Bee "Farm Fresh Flowers" stamp set.
I had so much fun using the Honey Bee "Thin Circle Frame" dies on my cards here, that I just had to play with them again! I stamped the images onto some water colour paper with embossing ink and added Wow Opaque Bright White embossing powder. After melting the powder with my heat gun, I used some Tombow markers and a water brush to colour the images in. It was hard to photograph as the white powder has a shine to it when melted and the camera picked that up more than the colour. After the images were dry, I cut them out using the matching "Farm Fresh Flowers Dies".
I used the Circle Thin Frames on this card and a doily for my main background. I popped both the flowers and the vase up with foam squares.

On this card only the flowers are popped up with foam squares. I coloured the vase with some Gasnai Tambi Silver water based pigment from the Starry Skies collection.
