Picnic Time!

 Hello!

The June theme over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps  this month is Summer! Nothing says summer more than a picnic!  I haven't been on a picnic for a very long time, but I am going to remedy that this summer for sure! Looks like "Ant's Picnic"  is having some fun! That hotdog should keep them fed for a while LOL. 

I started my card by stamping the image onto some Copic friendly paper. I coloured the image in with my Copic Sketch markers to match the papers in the Doodlebug "Bar-b-cute" 6x6 collection. I cut the coloured image out using a Gina Marie Double Roped square die and popped it up with some foam tape for added dimension. The "Picnic Time" sentiment and some enamel dots finish off my card.

Beautiful Day!

Hi!

Oh my goodness, isn't this little angel adorable?! Meet "Lizabeth Biking Angel" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I'll tell you a little secret..... I want a bike just like this in a fun colour with the basket! Of course it will have to have a bell. Maybe Hubby will read this post and surprise me with one LOL.

To start my card, I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper with Memento ink in Tuxedo. Before colouring in the image with my Copic Sketch markers, I chose papers from the Doodle Bug "My Happy Place" 6x6 collection. This way I can try to colour matching the chosen papers. I'm using the "Beautiful day" sentiment from High Hopes. A sprinkling of enamel dots finish off my card.

Just A Note!

Happy Tuesday!

I  love making "generic" cards that you can use for any occasion. I thought "Sweet Shirley Bear" from High Hopes Stamps paired with the HH sentiment called "Just A Note", makes a nice card to send. I spend the summers at our Cottage, so I always like to send a few notes off to friends at home.

First I picked my papers, Echo Park's "For The Record 2" collection. This way I can use my Copic Sketch markers to colour in my stamped image to match. Once Shirley was coloured, I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut around the image. I used a Gina Marie "Double Looped Oval" die for the background behind Shirley. I inked all the edges of my papers and image with Distress Oxide ink in Gathered Twigs. Some pretty yellow ribbon and a matching bow, finish off my card.

Dropping You A Line!

Hello!!

This stamp called "Time Well Spent" from High Hopes is one of the first stamps I purchased years ago. It still is one of my favourites! It just warms my heart! You can tell these two are the best of friends and don't go anywhere without each other! I used the HH sentiment "Dropping You A Line" so I can add this card to my Birthday stash!

After stamping my image onto Copic Friendly paper, I coloured it in with my Copic Sketch markers. I'm using papers from the Doodlebug "Puppy Love" 6x6 collection. Using A Gina Marie "Big and Little Pierced Chain Rectangle" die, I cut the image out. A bit a twine and a large brad finish off my card.

Make A Wish!

Everyone needs a cute Elephant in their Birthday card stash, don't ya think?!! This cutie is called "Ele-fun" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps! This stamp is easy to colour and helps to make a card quick! Love how she is holding the cupcake. I thought the sentiment "Make A Wish" went perfectly with this sweet stamp!

I started my card by choosing papers from the Honey bees Stamps "Birthday Bash" 6x6 collection. Next I stamped the image onto some Copic friendly paper using Memento ink, and coloured it in to match the papers I chose. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut out the image and popped it up with some foam tape for added dimension. A White gel pen made some polka dots and some Stickles added a bit of sparkle.

Dreams Come True!

 Hello!

This card just makes me feel happy! The adorable "Annie Block" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, with the cute blue and yellow papers just lifts my mood! Annie is just looking out her window, day dreaming about life. I thought the HH sentiment called "All Dreams Come True" was perfect for Annie!

To start, I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured her in with my Copic Sketch markers. Next I cut her out using a Stitched Square die. I chose papers from the Craft Consortium's "Bright Blooms" 6x6 collection. I love the blue and yellow combination and backed all the designer papers with coordinating cardstock. Crystal Stickles on her polka dots and yellow bows add a touch of sparkle. Some enamel dots finish off my card.

I'm popping in with a pretty card today using the High Hopes stamp called "Flowers Grow". I love this stamp and the sentiment is part of the image. The saying just touches me!

Today's papers are from the Paper Rose "Dear Emma" 6x6 collection. I love using 6x6 paper pads as the Designs are scaled smaller, perfect for card making! Next I stamped the image onto Copic Friendly paper and using my Copic Sketch markers, coloured the image to match  my chosen papers. I cut the image out with a circle die and then backed it onto a Spellbinder's Lacey Circle die. All the papers have their edges inked with Distress Ink in Dusty Concord. A few sparkly enamel dots finish off my card.

Springtime Joy!

I honestly can't wait to see the flowers start growing in my garden! Maybe I'll even get to see a fairy like this cutie! Meet "Fairy On A Leaf" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. Isn't she just adorable?!! I love the little lady bug getting in the picture! "Springtime Joy" was the perfect sentiment to match this card theme.

To start my card design, I stamped "Fairy On A Leaf" onto Copic friendly paper and coloured her in with my Copic Sketch markers. I chose papers from the Carta Bella "Flora no. 2" 6x6 collection. Next using a frame die, I cut the image out and a larger size to put in behind her. I cut the sentiment in half and popped it up with some foam tape for added dimension. Some ribbon and a flower brad finish off the card design.

Garden Beetle!

It's Spring over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps and the Design Team are using Spring themed stamps. I decided to use the "Garden Beetle" and the "Spring Has Sprung" sentiment. I've seen some really cute garden tools and thought this cutie should have some too! I just can't wait to get out in the garden and get my hands dirty.

I decided to use papers from the Carta Bella "Spring Market" 6x6 collection. After stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper with Memento ink, I coloured the image in with my Copic Sketch markers. Next using a Spell Binders "Labels 22" die, I cut it out. Using Distress Oxide ink in "Gathered Twigs", I inked all the paper edges. "Garden Beetle" is popped up with foam tape for added dimension. Some enamel dots and glitter pen on the garden tools finish off my card.

The theme this month over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps is "Spring"! Nothing says spring more than Easter! Love when the kids run around the yard looking for hidden eggs! I thought I would wish you all a Happy Easter with this adorable image called "Hare's My Heart".

To start, I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I coloured this cutie in with my Copic Sketch Markers. I am using papers today from the Doodlebug "Hoppy Easter" 6x6 collection. Using a Gina Marie "Big and Little Pierced Chain Circle" die, I cut out my image. Using a "Scalloped Border" die from PPP, I added some interest to the edge of one of the Designer Papers. I popped up the circle die with foam tape for added dimension. Love this sentiment from HH Called "Egg-Stra Special"! A few enamel dots, twine and Crystal Stickles finish off my card.
