Crazy Cat Lady!

Hello Ai Fans!

I am more of a dog lover but I couldn't resist this stamp set from Art Impressions called "Crazy Cat Lady"! I mean seriously how funny and cute is this set?!!

The "Crazy Cat Lady" set comes with 2 images, 4 sentiments and a set of paw prints. Just think of all the cards you can make with just one set!

I think this one is my favourite! I added some strips and spots to 2 of the cats for a bit of fun. I love her slippers that I added Cotton Candy Stickles to!

The Doodlebug Kitten Smitten 6x6 collection was perfect for these Gals! A few polka dots and some enamel dots finish off both of my cards.

Halloween Treat Bag!

Hello Ai Fans!
It's the second week of the "Treat Bag" Challenge and the Release of Art Impressions Halloween/Thanksgiving Clear sets! I got to play with the "Ghoul Friends" set! Aren't these Girlfriends just the cutest ever!

I coloured my image to match the papers from Doodlebugs "Boos and Brews" 6x6 collection. I added some Halloween die cuts and sentiment for some added fun elements.

I popped my fussy cut image up with some foam tape and inked the edges of my sentiment in Black Soot Distress Ink. Last year I took a card class at my local Scrapbook Store where we learned how to make this adorable Witch's Hat clip. 

The clip is easy to make using a circle with a hole in it and  2 triangles. Then you attach the mini clip to the hat with some glue dots.

Happy Fall!

Hello HH & OCS Fans!
How cute are these little friends?!!! This is the "Wagon Full of Blessings" stamp from High Hopes. I love Fall with the cooler weather and colours of the leaves! If you are in need of a little Fall inspiration, head on over to the OCS and HH Blogs. The Design Teams have been showcasing Fall/Halloween images all month!

I used a Circle Quilt die and cut a few papers with it from the Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather 6x6 collection. I fussy cut my image and popped it up with foam tape for some added dimension. The "Happy Fall Y'all" sentiment just sums up my love of Fall.

Hi Digi Doodle Fans!
It's my turn to post today over on the Digi Doodle Facebook page. I decided to use the adorable "Sylvie Ballerina" to showcase some of Dina's adorable digital stamps! This gal is just too sweet, don't you think?!!

I made my card background using my Silhouette Cameo and a cut file. I love the layered stacking hearts! I added a piece of polka dot paper behind the hearts for some added interest. Of course a Ballerina has to have some sparkle so I added Crystal Stickles on her skirt ruffles and flower centre. It's hard to see in the photo but I also added some Clear Glitter pen to her skirt and shoe ribbons.

The sentiment is also from Digi Doodle Studios and you can find it in the "Pixie Wishes" sentiment collection.

Old Goat Set!

Hi Ai Fans!

I couldn't decide on which image to use from the Art Impressions "Old Goat" set, so I made cards with all 3 images LOL! These goats are just too cute and fun to colour!

These goats just remind me of my FaceBook friend Michelle's goats! She writes a weekly Blog about her "Animal Family" and I always look forward to reading about them on Saturday mornings! You can find her Blog here. I am using papers from the Echo Park Happy Birthday Boy and Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 collections.

I think this is my favourite of the 3..... I tried to make it look like the goat was jumping through the air. The sentiment isn't from the set, I made it on my computer.

Love the expressions on their faces, especially the black and white one! It's like he's saying "What... You're how old??? Just too cute!

The "Old Goat Set" comes with 3 images and 7 sentiments! Just imagine all the different combinations you can get out of one set of stamps! Great value for sure.

Good Times!

Hello HH & OCS Fans!
This month it's all about Fall/Halloween for the Design Teams over at High Hopes and One Crazy Stamper. I just thought the "We're All Ears" and "Cawnie and Cawrls Lunch" were so cute that I had to ink them up!

Originally I wanted to have the corn cob as the card base but I didn't size it right with my Silhouette machine and cut a smaller version. So what's a girl to do?...... Mount it on the card front and add patterned paper LOL. I actually think it turned out better than the vision in my head! I used up some scraps from my patterned paper stash, fussy cut the images and mounted them on foam tape for some dimension. I also inked the edges of the corn cob with Vintage Photo to help it stand out as well.

Since these cute blackbirds are all eating, I thought the sentiment "Good Times" was perfect for these friends sharing their lunch LOL.

Road Trip!

Hello Ai Fans!

Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Art Impressions "Shoppers" set. The "Shoppers set comes with the Front and Back image as well as a sentiment. You can also just purchase the "Shoppers Front" or the "Shoppers Back" images on their own.

I decided to make a half front card base so that I could also add the back image. I decided to use the "Road Trip" sentiment from the "Road Trip" set as the license plate for fun. I am using papers from the Doodlebug "Spring Things" 6x6 collection to create my little country scene. The gals are on their way home from shopping, taking the scenic route LOL.

Here you can see how the back image is applied. I also inked the edges of my papers to make them stand out a bit more.

I sure hope this Gal doesn't loose any of the precious packages as they travel home!

I made a second card just using the "Shoppers Front" image to show how versatile this set can be.

I added glossy accents to the windshield, and some glitter pen to the lights and bumper for added fun!

Ai Cards & Envelope Challenge!

Hi Ai Fans!

It's the 2nd week of the "Cards & Envelopes" Challenge over on the Art Impressions Blog! We are also celebrating that Hobby Lobby is now carrying the Ai "Reel Great Guys" and "Spring Chickens" sets.

I decided to use the "Spring Chickens" set to make my card and matching envelope set.

I started off by taking some Distress Oxide Inks and making a piece of blended cardstock. Taking a piece of white cardstock, I die cut out the flowered heart. Then I just attached it over the blended layer and added a few enamel dots. A super quick and easy CAS design! 

I used a second sentiment from the "Spring Chickens" set on the inside of my card.

I also added the same image onto the front of my card and matching washi tape as on the inside of my card to tie it all together. To make the "address" section of the envelope I just traced the inside of a die and added hand drawn dots and dashes.

A few chicken prints for fun on the back of the envelope.
