More Than the Cat!

Hello!
I'm popping in today with a cute card for all the dog lovers out there! Meet "Fred" from High Hopes Stamps. I just love Fred, he's so cute and that face just melts my heart!
To start my card I stamped the image onto Copic Friendly paper. Using my Copic Sketch markers, I coloured the image in using colours that matched the Doodlebug "My Happy Place" 6x6 collection.  I decided I wanted Fred to have spots so now he looks more like a Dalmatian. Next, using a Gina Marie Pleated Circle die, I cut around the image. I popped the image up with some foam tape for added dimension. A few enamel dots finish off my card.
I thought the HH sentiment called "More Than the Cat" was a fun addition to my card!
Copics Used:
Fred: C00, C0, C1, C3, C7, C9, 100, R01
Bandana: Y15, Y17, Y19
Flowers: RV04, RV06, RV09
Stems & grass: YG01, YG03, YG17, G28

The Boo Crew!

Happy Tuesday!
Halloween is just around the corner and I needed one more card to send out! I decided to use the High Hopes  rubber stamp called "Boo Family in Frame". Normally these cuties are all together in one frame but I decided to do a different take on them.

Here you can see my craziness LOL. As I have used this stamp before I wanted to see if I could use it in a different way. It's been a while since I used the MFT Precious Polaroids dies and an idea popped into my head. On the left of the page is the original stamped image. Then I stamped it 3 more times and using correction tape taped off parts of each image so it would block our parts of the other ghosts. Now the image would fit into my little frames. I photocopied the blocked out images onto Copic friendly paper.
Here you can see the end result of my corrective tape nightmare LOL. Each ghost is isolated enough now to look like they are by themselves for each frame. If there were any "missing" sketch lines due to tape error, I drew them back in. Now, I went ahead and coloured each Ghost in and added them to the Polaroid frames. My papers today are from various Doodlebug Halloween themed 6x6 pads. I added a film strip, and mounted the "Boo Crew" sentiment on top with dimensional tape. A scattering of enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Ghosts: C00, C1, C3 / YR04, YR09/ R01
Their ties: YR04, V17/ YG25, V06
Wood Frame: C5, C8
Stars: Y26, Y28
Background: YG00, YG01, YG03

Warm Winter Wishes!

Hi!
I'm always in need of Christmas cards, so making some ahead is a good idea for me. I have a thing for penguins and snowmen so of course I had to make a card using the High Hopes "Snowman Love"! One of my favourite HH sentiments for Christmas/winter is the "Warn Winter Wishes" sentiment and I use it often! Mr Snowman probably doesn't like it though as if it warms up he'll melt lol!
I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper using some Memento Black Ink. Next I coloured the image in Christmas colours to match paper from bits I had in my stash.  Using a Craftin Desert Diva Banner die (retired), I cut the image out. I framed the "Warm Winter Wishes" sentiment using a Gina Marie Pleated Lace Rectangle die. I added some Crystal Stickles on the stocking and stars and added some ribbon with a bow. A sprinkling of enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
C00, C0, C2,
R01, R37, R59, R89
E25, E27
G94, G99
Y26, Y28

What's The Buzz?

Hello!
Sometimes you just need a cute card to send to a friend to see what's going on in their world. "Willa With a Flower" from High Hopes Stamps is so sweet and is the perfect image for my card. Since there is a little bee in the image, I thought the HH "What's the Buzz" sentiment was cute match.
After stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper, I coloured in Willa with my Copic Sketch markers. I used the Studio Katia "Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frames" die set. It's a set that will make the whole card design, you don't even have to think LOL. My paper today is from the Echo Park "New Day" 6x6 collection. A few enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Mouse: T0, T1, T2, T4, C8
Lady Bug: R37, C8
Bee: C8, R37, B000, B00
Flower: YR23, YR27, YR18

Fairy Merry Christmas!

Welcome!
Before we know it Christmas will be here! I send out quite a few handmade cards so it's never too early to start designing them. Today I just couldn't resist playing with "Holly The Winter Fairy" from High Hopes Stamps. She's just such a little darling! I love the matching HH Sentiment called "Fairy Merry Christmas"
I stamped my image onto some Copic friendly paper and used my Copic Sketch markers to colour her in. Next using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut Holly out as well as a slightly larger matching shape from red cardstock. I love these papers from the Polkadoodles "Wintertime, Gnome Season and Ho Ho Gnome" 6x6 collections. I couldn't decide so I used a bit of them all LOL. The die behind Winter Fairy is from Gina Marie and is called "Frilly Lace Nested dies". To finish off my card, I used a MFT Bountiful Bow die and added some enamel dots. And of course some sparkle on her fur trims.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E43, E44, E47

Welcome Little One!

Hello!!
It seems like there a lot of babies being born lately...... must be Covid (lol). Everyone has had a lot of spare time on their hands lol! I'm re-building my stash of baby cards, seems I can't have enough. This cute little dragon is from High Hopes Stamps and is called "Baby Dragon". He goes nicely with the HH sentiment "Sm. Welcome Little One".
To start my card I stamped my image onto Copic friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I set about colouring him with my Copic Sketch markers to match the papers from Doodlebug's "Special Delivery" 6x6 collection. I cut out my image with a MFT Stitched Oval die and popped him up over the square and banner die cuts with foam tape. I love using foam tape as it just adds more interest to your card with the dimension it gives. I cut the sentiment in half so that I could have words on the left and bottom corners. A few enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics used:
B21, B23, B24
Y32, Y35
YG17, YG23, YG25
W1, W3

I really appreciate you stopping by today!

Lots of Hugs!

Happy Tuesday!
I love this little cutie called "Gonna Getcha" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps! He just warms my heart and makes me smile! I'm re-stocking my "friend" cards and I know just the person I'm going to send this too! I haven't seen them all summer so I'm sending lots of hugs to them! Hopefully this cutie will brighten their day and let them know I am missing them!
Today I am using papers from the Honey Bee "Bee Bliss" 6x6 collection. After stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper, I coloured him in to match the designer papers. Next using a Gina Marie Pleated Circle die, I cut him out. I added a Pretty Pink Posh Border die cut to both sides of a flowered strip of paper for some fun! I decided to use the HH sentiment called "Hugs & Hugs" to send that long distance hug I was talking about. Both the sentiment and the main image are popped up with foam tape for some added dimension. A bit of ribbon and a bow finish off my design.
Copics Used:
Mouse: N0, N1, N2, N3, R20
Overalls: BG72, BG75, BG78
T-shirt: YR24, YR27
Grass: YG17

School Days!

Happy Tuesday!!!!
Yahoo, whoopee, the kiddo's are back to school today! I bet a lot of Mom's out there are happy to see this day come after a summer of fun (and exhaustion LOL) with the kids. The kids are happy to go back and see their friends! All around everyone is happy LOL! I thought this was the perfect image for my post today, a nice welcome back to your teacher! This is the "School Days Quick Card" rubber stamp from High Hopes Stamps.
I started my card by stamping my image onto Copic friendly paper and colouring it in with my Copic Sketch Markers. Then, using a square die, I cut out my coloured image and backed it with some red cardstock. My papers are from the Doodlebug "School Days" 6x6 collection, I designed my card base. I love the sentiment "To Teach Is To Touch"! I cut it in half to place on the top and bottom of my card.. Teachers are very important in our early years and have an important job teaching and shaping the minds of our youth! A few enamel dots finish off my card design.
Copics Used:
B21, B24, B27, B29
Y35, Y38
