BRR......

Hello!
Look at this adorable "Skating Along" Penguin from High Hopes Rubber Stamps! He looks like he doesn't have a care in the world! He's just out enjoying the winter day skating on the pond. He's got quite the form too LOL!
I decided to pair Mr Penguin with the "Frozen Skating Pond" to have a little scene for him to skate along! I stamped the images onto Copic friendly paper and then set about colouring them in. I cut the pond out using a MFT Stitched Square die, and cut the Penguin out using my Brother Cut N Scan. Next I popped him up using foam squares over part of the pond. I thought the HH "Brr" sentiment was perfect as I'm sure it's cold where he is! Lots of sparkle to my card today..... Twinkle Stickles on the trees and glitter pen on the ice surfaces. A few enamel dots finish off my card.

Winter Wonderland!

Happy Tuesday!
I'm carrying on the "Winter Theme" for December over on the High Hopes Blog with this cutie called "Package Packin' Penguin". He's so cute and easy to colour, so he makes a fast card when you need one!
After stamping my image, I coloured this cutie in with my Copic Markers. I have a Silhouette Cameo and hardly ever use it.... I know, what a shame, LOL! So I challenged myself to use one of my many files. This card base is called "Christmas Tree Shadow Box (svg.) Instead of making it into the actual card base, I just used the front cutouts and popped each layer up with foam squares to get that shadow box look. Next using some of my Christmas scraps, added the designer papers onto a 5"x6.5" pre-made card base. I stamped the "Winter Wonderland" HH sentiment directly onto the front and popped the Penguin up as well.
Copics Used:
Penguin: N1, N0, N6, N7, N9/ YR23, YR27
Hat & Scarf: R56, R50, E04
Present: B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

Cold Hands!

Hello!
December is all about Winter themed cards over on the High Hopes Blog! Meet the adorable "Lasso Some Snow" Snowman. He's going to lasso some fun for him and his little bird friends!
I started my card by stamping the image onto Copic friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I decided to use papers from the Echo Park "Winter" 6x6 collection and coloured the image to match. Using my Brother Cut N Scan, I cut the image out and using foam squares popped him up for some added dimension. I inked all the edges of my papers with Distress Oxide ink in "Faded Jeans". Some Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on the snow spots adds a fun sparkle to my card! The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Fancy Cold Hands". A bit of twine and bow finishes everything off.

Santa's Coming!

Ho Ho Ho!
It's hard to believe that Christmas is less than a month away! It always seems to creep up on us! I have to say this is the first year I had my shopping done and presents wrapped by the middle of November! Look at me go LOL. Todays card features the adorable "Christmas Santa" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps!
I started my card by stamping the image onto Copic friendly paper and then stamped the "Coming To Town" sentiment underneath Santa. Next, I coloured my image in using my Copic markers to match papers from the Vicki Boutin "Evergreen and Holly" 6x8 collection. Using a MFT Stitched Octagon die, I cut the image out and piece to put behind it. Of course Santa has to have some sparkle so I added Crystal Stickles to the fur parts on his outfit. Some twine and enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Skin & Beard: E11, E21, R20/ C0, C1, C2, C3

Snow Couple!

Hello!
Well we just had a blast of winter so these adorable Snowmen are perfect for my post today! We sure got spoiled the beginning of November with warm Fall weather so to all of sudden get some cold weather was a shock lol! I remember when the kiddies were little, the first snowfall they'd rush out to make snowmen even if there was hardly any snow. I love anything "snow people" related and this cutie called "Snow Couple Block" from High Hopes Stamps just makes me feel happy!
I started my card design by stamping the image onto alcohol friendly paper and coloured the image in with  my Copic Sketch markers. I love the colours and snowflake print from the Sunny Studios "All Is Bright" 6x6 collection. My design is simple, with just layers of Designer Paper and the image out out with a MFT Zig Zag die. I kept the card flat, no foam tape this time for easy mailing. A few enamel dots and some Crystal Stickles finish off my card today.
I decorated the inside of my card using some of the scraps from the paper collection and a MFT Border die. The HH Sentiment called "Snowfolk" goes nicely with the Snow Couple Block.
Copics Used:
Snowmen: N0, N1, N5/ YR04, YR09
Hat & Buttons: N5, N6, N8
Boy's Scarf & Mitts: E23, E25, E29/ BG 49, BG53, BG57

A Few Good Men!

Happy Tuesday!
Today I am sharing with you a quick and easy card! The "Good Men Garland" stamp from High Hopes Rubber Stamps fits perfectly across a 4.25" x 5.5" card base and is quick and easy to colour!
To start my card, I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured it in to match my designer papers. The papers are from the Doodlebug "Night Before Christmas" 6x6 collection. I love the little gingerbread men in the papers, too cute! I used a Pretty Pink Posh border die to cut out underneath my stamped image and designer paper. A pretty green strip of ribbon and bow finish off my card.
Copics Used:
E31, E33, E35
R24, R29, YG25
RV06, RV09, BG000

Nordic Snowman!

Hello!!!
Just popping in with another card to celebrate the "Christmas/Winter" theme the Design Team is using this month over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  I decided to use this cutie called "Nordic Snowman" and paired it with the HH "Snow People Saying" sentiment.
To start making my card, I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper. I fell in love with these papers from the Photo Play's "Tula and Nobert's Christmas Party" 6x6 collection. Non-traditional.... but works for a winter themed card as well. I coloured the image to match the papers and used a Studio Katia "Half Stripped Cover" to pop my image up on. It was fun piecing the different papers back into the die. A bow (MFT Bountiful Bows die) and some Crystal Stickles finish off my card.
Copics Used:
C00, C1, C2
YR04, YR09
E23, E25
BG05, BG06, BG09, BG70, BG78
G05, G07, G09, G24, YG17

Fa-La-La!

Happy November 1st!
The Design Team over at High Hopes Rubber Stamps is having fun this month with Christmas/Winter themed stamps. I decided to play with the "Bird Song" image and paired it with the "Fa-La-La-La" sentiment. I'm loving these cuties!
I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured the image with my Copic Sketch markers. I decided to use papers from the Echo Park's "Winter" 6x6 collection and coloured the image to match. Taking a Gina Marie Loopy Oval die, I cut the image out and popped it up with some foam tape. A few different sizes of snowflakes were added for a fun touch. Since I was at my cottage and didn't have my Distress Inks with me, I used a Copic B97 marker to edge the papers. Some Crystal Stickles on the snowy branches finish off my card.
Copics Used:
B41, B45, B91.B95, B97,B99
E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49

More Than the Cat!

Hello!
I'm popping in today with a cute card for all the dog lovers out there! Meet "Fred" from High Hopes Stamps. I just love Fred, he's so cute and that face just melts my heart!
To start my card I stamped the image onto Copic Friendly paper. Using my Copic Sketch markers, I coloured the image in using colours that matched the Doodlebug "My Happy Place" 6x6 collection.  I decided I wanted Fred to have spots so now he looks more like a Dalmatian. Next, using a Gina Marie Pleated Circle die, I cut around the image. I popped the image up with some foam tape for added dimension. A few enamel dots finish off my card.
I thought the HH sentiment called "More Than the Cat" was a fun addition to my card!
Copics Used:
Fred: C00, C0, C1, C3, C7, C9, 100, R01
Bandana: Y15, Y17, Y19
Flowers: RV04, RV06, RV09

The Boo Crew!

Happy Tuesday!
Halloween is just around the corner and I needed one more card to send out! I decided to use the High Hopes  rubber stamp called "Boo Family in Frame". Normally these cuties are all together in one frame but I decided to do a different take on them.

Here you can see my craziness LOL. As I have used this stamp before I wanted to see if I could use it in a different way. It's been a while since I used the MFT Precious Polaroids dies and an idea popped into my head. On the left of the page is the original stamped image. Then I stamped it 3 more times and using correction tape taped off parts of each image so it would block our parts of the other ghosts. Now the image would fit into my little frames. I photocopied the blocked out images onto Copic friendly paper.
Here you can see the end result of my corrective tape nightmare LOL. Each ghost is isolated enough now to look like they are by themselves for each frame. If there were any "missing" sketch lines due to tape error, I drew them back in. Now, I went ahead and coloured each Ghost in and added them to the Polaroid frames. My papers today are from various Doodlebug Halloween themed 6x6 pads. I added a film strip, and mounted the "Boo Crew" sentiment on top with dimensional tape. A scattering of enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:
Ghosts: C00, C1, C3 / YR04, YR09/ R01
Their ties: YR04, V17/ YG25, V06
Wood Frame: C5, C8
Stars: Y26, Y28
Background: YG00, YG01, YG03
